Miami Transformers has supplied remanufactured distribution transformers across the United States, the Caribbean, and South America since 1994. Family-owned and operated, we stock padmount and polemount transformers from 25 kVA through 2500 kVA, and back the supply business with in-house remanufacturing, repair, rewind, ANSI-standard testing, and custom engineering — over 1,000 transformer projects completed for utility, industrial, and commercial customers.
Our Story
Founded in 1994 by Jorge Vila and his son Xavier Vila, Miami Transformers began as a father-and-son startup specializing in the global distribution and export of transformers.
What started as an international trading operation gradually expanded into transformer scrapping and asset recovery. This hands-on experience laid the groundwork for what would become a full-service transformer repair company known for its precision, integrity, and family values.
Over the decades, Miami Transformers has grown into one of the most trusted names in transformer supply, repair, and rewinding—serving industrial, utility, and commercial clients nationwide, plus on-site field service throughout Florida.
